Alternator & Starter Service

In addition to your battery, your alternator and starter are electric-based and will eventually need service. If you have an older vehicle, this becomes even more of a necessity. Your alternator and starter are rotating electrical parts that get your engine going. If they aren’t turning as fast as they should be, your vehicle may take longer to start up. In some cases, it may be unable to start at all. 

When there is a problem starting your vehicle, you should always check the battery first. If jumping your car or replacing the battery gets it to start, then your battery was the issue. If your battery isn’t the issue, you’re likely looking at an alternator or starter problem.
